If a student is starting an SBAC test and they do not get any sound when doing the sound test it is possible that the iPad has been silenced through the control center.
To check:
Swipe down from the top right to display the control center
If the sound icon is red with a line through it then silent mode is On
Press the sound icon once to turn silent mode Off
Return to test and do sound check again
